the specialist on renegade hardware?

i got the newsletter from essential-parties in bcn.

i read that 'the specialist' will play. it s also a synonym for 'dillinja' or 'capone'. or is this 'the specialist' another person?

but i couldn t find a release by 'the specialist' on renegade hardware, only as 'dillinjah' on rh.

As far as I know, this "specialist" is not Dillinja. He's a DJ only, he's not a producer. He DJs for Renegade Hardware's label.

This was why I had to use other names like Capone or The Specialist for Dread, just so that I could get my stuff out there without it looking silly with Dillinja stamped over every other twelve on the racks. I've made hundreds of tracks and most I've lost over the years, ha ha!!"

It can be confusing but not all dj's who represent record labels are producers.
David (Specialist) is a Renegade Hardware Dj who represents them at parties from time to time. He also can put Trouble on Vynil after his name too. He worked for the labels. He was also assistant editor on ATM magazine and had a residency at Movement in london early on in his career.
Exellent Dj/Producers are rare, most producers spend all their time in the studio and don't polish their mixing skills at all. Marcus Intalex, Andy C, Randall, are exceptions. Specialist was incredible at Plataforma driving the public wild with adrenaline injected technique and bombblast bassdrops. I recommend booking him to anyone who is passionate about drum'n'bass. He's cheaper than the famous names and mixes better.
At the moment he is in Thailand.
