One of London’s most iconic event venues; 'The End' night club / ‘AKA’ , the home to so much wonderful music over the years, has re opened as 'The Den and Centro' with our first launch party on the 18th July 2009.

Your time, the newest dubstep festival to hit London, will be taking over all three rooms launching a new residency and Truth's EP release party on Skream's "Disfigured Dubz" record label.

With over 30 artists, across three levels including DJ sets, live bands, live MC battles & live production performances primarily featuring Dubstep as well as selected sets of Hip Hop, Old Skool Jungle, House & Electronic rock, giving each room something exciting and different from the other while keeping the foundation of Dubstep.

This will be the re opening and launch party of the year!

Tryptamine 's love for music has seen him continually exploring different genres and digging out bangin tunes with Dubstep his main vice.

Having returned to New Zealand, Tryptamine has been sharing his love for the genre; frequently playing live shows and gigs across the country, rocking floors as often as possible from nearly every bar in Auckland, up and down the country to Wellington; Hamilton; he’s even been invited to play at Whangareis established ‘Paddock’ party 2 years running supporting a number of national and international artists. Tryptamine DJ skills have been in high demand, with guest appearances on Aucklands George FM and shows on Silkcuts, aiding the demands and requests for his services; he was asked to host Auckland’s prime time drive show on Boosh FM.

Continually developing his passion for DJing, Tryptamine has already started the evolution into production, with a number of tunes underway and increasingly perfecting his sound you can expect to hear his own production in his well sort after Tryptamine DJ sets.

Hailing from London, Bare Noize formed early 2009 by James Dent and Daniel Brown, both talented producers and DJs from long ago looking to tear down rooftoops and have the crowd eating from dirty nappies....Within months after a couple of moves and with support from emerging dub label Eight FX, Bare Noize were releasing and selling consistent records and downloads, notably with their killer debut "make some fucking noize/Can't Help me with the flipside being featured on the mash up mix 09' ministry of sound compilation mixed by the cut up boys, official remix of the UK Club Chart 1 Fonzerelli's Dreamin and their Double B sides on the 2009 Hatcha vs Lost 12" />

The latest addition to Bare Noize came in August 2009 in the form of Ollie. After having him mixdown tracks for their previous releases, Oliver Pile, previously writing as OLLIE! was asked to join the crew full time. The three of them now combine to create a formidable production trio, getting support from Benga, Caspa, Crookers, Datsik, Excision, CFYE to name a few....
Also performing live, the boys have built up a DJ set like no other and as a result have already begun to play to crowds from London to Liverpool, and are mixing the follow up to the Future:Dubstep compilation series (the original was mixed by Kiss 100's DJ Hatcha), which will be released through one of Dance music's legendary labels, Media Records (Nukleuz / Big In Ibiza). With plenty more to come this year including being featured on the Ministry Of Sound Mash Up (Mixed by the Cut Up Boys) expect to see Bare Noize's name around the Dubstep scene a lot more.

I've been mixing for about 10 years, starting out in Hip Hop playing down in the south west at parties, and a residency at Cut and Paste nights at the Cavern in Exeter. Having moved back to London, I moved away from Hip Hop and threw myself into Nu Skool Breaks and Drum & Bass, and continued to play parties and nights at a few bars. I also began to develop an interest in the emerging Dubstep scene, the combination of influences including breaks, dnb and garage really appealling to me, and resparking my interest in production. I began to play guest slots on internet radio such as Innacity FM, and Brap FM and found that my mixes were beginning to include more and more Dubstep, and less breaks. It was around this time that I was offered my own bi weekly show on Brap FM and Grubby Dubs was formed! Having had a break from radio for a few months, I have been focussing my energy on mixing and production, and look to evolve Grubby Dubs maybe towards a night of its own...

Budapest based DJ/producer Matt-U is nothing less than a tune making machine. Armed with a seriously heavy deep and techy based sound, Matyas Szalai has made a name for himself releasing hard and heavy drum & bass for labels as renowned as the legendary Moving Shadow, Timeless and Cylon. With over 34 releases to his name since 2004, this is one producer you should be keeping an eye on.

His music encapsulates many genres of music, from drum & bass to dubstep, but all with that ‘Matt-U’ sound running throughout. Recently his dubstep tracks have been getting plenty of attention from DJs such as N-Type, TRG, Luke Envoy, Tes La Rok and many more. Look out for his releases forthcoming on Subway, Boombap, Mata-syn, Dub4Life and N-Type’s Wheel & Deal.

With just as much artistic emphasis placed on his DJ sets as his production, Matt-U can truly claim to cold rock a party with his impeccable blend of beats, incorporating everything from techy rollers to deeper, ambient pieces. This is one DJ who isn’t afraid to drop the right tune, at the right time to take the crowd on a very special journey.
